About me
Claire Zimmermann is the farm manager for Open Petal Farm and an instructor for the Sustainable Agriculture Certificate Program at JCCC. After studying agriculture at Truman State University, she has been working with Kansas City farmers, gardeners and students for over 10 years and has been growing fruits and vegetables for market for 15. She is excited to share her knowledge on soil health, soil biology, nutrient cycling and to convince you that compost is the answer to your soil health questions. Claire lives on a farm on the Kansas side of Stateline with her husband and daughter.
