With more than 21 years of experience in education and six years in industry, Angelia brings a unique blend of real-world experience and instructional leadership to every learning environment. After beginning her career in the private sector, Angelia transitioned into education with a passion for helping students understand the authentic applications of their learning.For 15 years, Angelia served as a dedicated Project Lead The Way (PLTW) instructor, designing hands-on, project‑based experiences that connected classroom concepts to real industry challenges. Her commitment to career‑connected learning led her to step into school leadership, where she spent six years as an assistant principal supporting teachers in integrating real‑world learning opportunities across all content areas.Beginning next school year, Angelia will serve as the Assistant Director of Real World Learning for the Blue Springs School District, where she will continue championing authentic learning pathways, industry partnerships, and meaningful student experiences that prepare students for success beyond graduation.
